Enhancing your treasures

Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. (Psalm 73:25)
At times I visit markets. Scores of tables are littered with much clutter. One man's rubble becomes another man's riches. This is what the vendor prays for.
During these infrequent 'flights' I am most diligent in scanning for the elusive treasure. I know, the profit is not at the sale but at the purchase.
Yet my diligence in pursuing 'treasure' is so insignificant and irregular. I look across a myriad of rag-tag plastic fold-up tables in an enclosure. Sometimes these stalls enjoy the 'wonder' of canvas overhead, I think - 'luxury'.
God too scans for 'treasures', but His search reaches across this planet, and under no canopy. God sees His entire earth. Carefully He ensures those Divine eyes are accurate.
The treasure He seeks is a heart fully devoted to Him. The tenacity He employs is no hindrance, but an asset. Ignorance, inability or weariness can't hinder His attempts, nor will there be restraint for His own.
His desire is to enhance His 'treasures'. He yearns to pour His strength into His committed ones. His eyes bless those who belongs to Him. He misses none - not one.
For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)
It is through submission and surrender that invites His strength in. You can bank on that.
