Focus to conquer self:
One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple... (Psalm 27:4)
my heart says of You, "seek His face!" Your face, Lord, I will seek. (Psalm 27:8)
Comfort to conquer self:
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. (Psalm 28:7)
The Lord is the strength of His people, a fortress of salvation for His anointed one. (Psalm 28:8)
Guidance to conquer self:
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He instructs sinners in His ways. (Psalm 25:8)
