God could have said this to Moses...
Moses said to the Lord, ‘Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue ... now go, I will help you speak and teach you what to say. (Exodus 4:10 & 12)
A kind word to all those believers who feel inadequate to their God-given tasks:
To the troubled and the lame...
To the shaky and the least...
To the forgotten and the last...
I am He who comforts you. (Isaiah 51:12a)
Is God speaking to you and saying:
In your persistent weakness is MY consistent strength
Upon your failing or inadequate words is MY perfect speech
Over your cloudy and crowded thoughts is MY light that illumines and shines through you.
God does not call the equipped, but equips the called.
The first shall be last and the last shall be first, for it is by faith that you live - it is not by your skills.
