Giving God permission ... ?

God's will is good. Don't doubt it, most do.
Jeremiah could not ignore God's attention within. He described God's words - His word is in my heart like a fire ... (20:9b)
Could these verses too burn within?
- I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you ... (Isaiah 42:6) For a moment, just a moment, please consider the unknown bandit who calls well out to you, to rob you, this is not God's way. We are not called in wickedness, there are no plans to hurt us.
- His right hand is full of righteousness. (Psalm 48:10b) Goodness is what He only holds, priority is it's status.
- Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed for His compassion never fails. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22 & 23)
- He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men. (Lamentations 3:33)
So then how should we live? What are to be our actions?
I say to myself, "the Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him; to the one who seeks Him. (Lamentation 3:24 & 25)
Listen to His words, strap them upon your forehead, tattoo them across your heart. His intentions are good. Permit God's Words and ways to be your comfort, your portion, and your 'fortune'.
