Label Me your 'LOVER'!
And the good Lord would say to those willing to stop and to listen:
Label Me as your 'lover'. I AM the ONLY righteous lover to mankind. I only act for you out of your best interests. I would place you on My highway, it only has two directions, north or south - there are no sidetracks to take you east or west. Heading forward or turning around are your deliberate decisions.
There are rest stations on My highway's verge that you can stop with Me, be still and refresh yourself in Me. This is why My Word invites you to stillness and solitude. I AM your compass. I have placed barriers and fencing alongside My highway, these too are in your interests. At times they may hurt when you glance or bump them, but this - very few understand.
These barriers prevent you from drifting off My highway into bandits and wild animals that could destroy you, taking you from Me and Me from you. Your direction is always your choice. My highway carries little distractions.
Your yesterdays belong to you, but now your todays and tomorrows belong to Me.
For those needing comfort and relief My hand stretches out to you, and for those in trouble and distress you will be riding on My shoulders. This is My loving grace to you, it is not of your own doing. Your time and My seasons for you are in My hands.
This is so you may be focused and bear Me and My Father much fruit - trust Me in this. Let Me be your 'lover'.
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. (Romans 7:4)
