Blind Sin...

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)

He who will be the Judge still stands at the door and still warmly knocks. Answer the door, for the black-leather bound 'mirror' He holds reveals your true self.

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)

This common passage has tortured the souls of saints since Jesus first taught it. Only the soul not tortured glosses over it, untroubled.

Sin blinds.

'Sainthood' is not arrived at through self-ignorance. Otherwise, the soul continues bound in an invisible bondage.

Sin I am unable to see I am condemned to repeat.
