When the soul 'disfigures'
Considering christian leadership? It's simple!
God leaves no man alone who will do His will.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)
BUT BEWARE, leaders run the very great risk of vain service. Aggrandizement is dishonorable. Self-promoters guard quietly a 'disfigured' soul.
Christians to be raised up should be familiar with humility. Shoulders tapped whilst kneels are bent, these are to rule the day.
A Christian must lead themselves spiritually prior to leading any 'flock' regularly.
There are no great leaders in His kingdom who haven't first lived faithfully, painfully and truthfully before the Lord. Elijah spent 3 years in privation and Paul the apostle took 14 years to take his 'charge.' In fact, Jesus explained that after being trusted with little, He will elevate them to be over much.
Christian leadership starts from within. Charlatans are visible to Heaven's eyes:
... woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not the shepherds take care of the flock? (Ezekiel34:2)
God walks with those He appoints. Where God guides - He provides.
