I seek the attention of others but not God's
God wants my attention but I withhold it
God wants to speak to me but I am too busy
God believes in me but I don't believe in me
God invites me to turn to Him for help, I turn to man
God offers to fill me, but I fill myself
God wants to speak words of comfort to me, but I don't believe He speaks to day
God wants to heal me, but I don't believe He can today
God wants my presence, I want His presents
God desires for me to seek heavenly treasures, my desire is to seek earthly ones
God delights in my contentment, but I delight in shopping for me
God is happy when I am giving, I am happy when I am keeping.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebs 4:16)
