'If you can fake sincerity you have it made'.
I have heard that there is an axiom in the business world that sounds something like the above sentiment.
This is a really sad quip.
Falsehood and deceit continue to canopy both individuals and the masses. People can learn the language of caring without actually caring.
I have had various 'approaches' from people claiming to be christians, using the words of Christianity without knowing the Christ of Christianity. They have used the language of Zion without living in Zion. All the approaches were simply pursuing money with deceit as the tool.
It is just as easy to be deceived about myself as it is to deceive another.
"The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?" (Jer 17:9)
I need a deceit destroyer that I may truly understand myself. For all those who call on the name of Jesus for forgiveness, they have Him already.
The deceit destroyer is the Spirit of Truth. To find the truth about myself I only need to seek Him and His counsel.
