Many justly ask what is the church doing in this season?
When the church is painted the same grey color as the world, people are entitled to dismiss Christians as mumbo-jumbo spouting, Bible thumpers, and desperate God botherers.
However, I believe the Lord is calling us to do less sermonising and more action – stop telling them what to do but start showing them what God has done and can do. We have the authority – use it!
God is calling all of us to testify to His goodness and to demonstrate His love. Return hate with love – return spite with kindness – return doubt with testimony.
"They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." (Rev 12:11)
We so often try to do God’s work for Him. All He really requires is that we speak His name, step back, and then permit the Holy Spirit of Truth to be busy.
Make way for the Holy Spirit 'cos He is still comin' through.
