Have you ever waited?
Have you ever wondered why events do not transpire in the order you expected?
Have you ever watched for a 'kind space', that time of favour, rest or goodness?
Have you ever desired a house sale?
Have you ever yearned for a promotion?
Have you ever agonised for financial relief?
Have you ever eagerly anticipated a storm's end?
Have you ever sought an illness's cure?
Have you ever hungered for dawn, or the day to just end?
Have you ever looked for a change of season or peered for answered prayer?
Have you ever thirsted for the presence of another, or waited for the absence of another?
Waiting delivers countless assets and benefits to the one who is patient, indeed impotent.
I wait because I am unable to change heaven's seasons. Everything awaits its appointed time.
God always acts at His appointed times.
I can't promote His seasons any more than I can prevent His seasons, but I sure can forfeit them!
I too have a daily permanent appointment with God. He too eagerly awaits my attendance! The season I can give Him is now. This is the appointment not to be forfeited.
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. 1 Cor 4:5
