ETERNAL LORD - ETERNAL LOVE!
... the earth is full of His unfailing love ... the plans of the Lord stand forever ... He who forms the hearts of all ... in our hearts rejoice ... (Psalm 33:5b, 11b. 15a, 21a)
There is joy in the morning, an apt axiom for each day.
Time each day tests us, and we can often shake or fail. The chances of today collude to rob the dawn's blessing.
Your flesh and heart too easily weaken in haste (a whisper in your ear condemns). Resolve lost, test failed. You feel 'alone' again, back in yesterday's dim doldrums.
But then, again, a further test rises. It is the test of tears. Tears are raised from depths within.
Disappointment visits the flesh but tears examine the soul.
Tears repeatedly frame (and that whisper, again) the same question... will you still hold on to the steadfast love of the LORD?
His perfect reply ...
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
