How Do You Measure Evil?
Evil now 'hollers' out, demands that it is correct. Goodness/righteousness is shouted down, labelled as evil.
In the last days woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (Isaiah 5:20)
'Christians' and pagans alike are unable to divide good from evil. Morality is jettisoned, virtue is at best a mere memory, and life's divine compass within crushed under foot.
Few men can grasp this wicked sleight-of-hand, even less care to fight it.
Evil is honored and goodness/righteousness is dishonored.
A struggle exists within men and between men to define 'evil', for it is still recognised but not agreed on.
There exists no human measuring rod to grade evil, and no calculator to number it.
Science can't explain evil, let alone solve it.
Mankind is doomed to always fail as the only true God continues to be resisted and lambasted. But, darkness will never enjoy the last word.
Mankind leaves himself open to all manner of malevolent air-bound spiritual authority. This is dressed up as lamb, but is truly a wolf.
No man is sufficiently skilful to create a correct sense of life without first consulting the Author of life, the Pioneer and Perfecter of the Christian faith.
When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. (Isaiah 8:19-20)
Christian wisdom names the darkness as darkness and the Light as light, and helps us learn how to live and work in the Light so that the darkness does not overcome us. ~ anon
