Righteousness rules heaven & earth...

As Joshua wore armor, the Christian wears Christ's mantle of righteousness.

The eyes of a Christian's heart have been enlightened, so too ancient Israel's.

Joshua's farewell to Israel's leaders was focused:

... I am old and well advanced in years... be very strong, be very careful to obey... hold fast to the Lord your God... be very careful to love the Lord your God... but if you turn away... the Lord's anger will burn against you, and you will quickly perish... (excerpts from Joshua 23)

The fruit of faithfulness is salvation.

The fruit of unfaithfulness is destruction.

This is not too difficult to grasp nor is it beyond a man's reach:

as a man's breath is snatched into eternity the status of righteousness is reckoned. It is never how we begin the race but how we finish that wins.

as for you, go your way to the end. You will rest, and then at the end of days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance. (Daniel 12:13)

The Last Word:

Our heavenly mansions, our allotted inheritances are not unconditionally guaranteed.
