When will 'reason' bend knees to 'faith'?

Sight had told Adam much of God; but faith was to tell him far more. He had known the sweetness of walking with God in the day of his unfallen strength; he was now to know the deeper blessedness of leaning on God by faith, in the day of sorrowing helplessness. (Horatio Bonar 1808 - 1889))

Man has almost ‘forever’ lived absent from God’s presence. Vision must give way to faith if humanity’s prayers are to ascend toward heavenly shores. Apprehending Heaven is unseen, but it is felt.

This side of heaven 'faith' is the temporal treasure that sees what eyes can’t. It is 'faith' that grasps 'grace'.

Faith is the certainty of the unseen, that confidence to step out the boat without any visible means of support.

"Come," Jesus said. Peter got out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. (Matthew 14:29)

The words Adam heard from God are now recorded, and note, God’s words remain forever. Hold dearly onto God's written word. This is faith.

While God and His own are separated He still expects obedience and always loves like no other. This is faith.

Jesus’ return will vindicate your faith, and reason will then bend the knee to it.
