A Gospel 'Inconvenience'

The truth these days is scrubbed out. Each day it is further tortured until it agrees to anything at all, and is thus comfortable for almost everyone.

Christians have been warned, threatened and intimidated until they instinctively recoil from teaching Jesus as the ONLY way to paradise.

Billy Graham (1918-2018) awoke a dozing world, not with platitudes but unrestrained appeals for this world to hear and then carry the truth's of heaven, to heaven.

He taught the correct narrowness of saving faith. This is needed moreso today.

What was once a world that dozed away in 'safety' from Christianity, has now become a dark world with unsafe but dozing Christians, too sleepy to speak up.

Christian 'narrow-mindedness' is now bombarded and assailed with an ever eager momentum. This was unknown eight decades ago, when Billy began his world shaking evangelism. He, without restraint, preached THE truth:

Every house and building has at least one entrance.

Every nation has many points of entry.

The children of Israel entered the Promised Land by way of the Jordan River.

God had delivered them out of slavery and persecution into a better country, and that entry point still remains today.

The kingdom of God also has an entrance— only one—and it is Jesus the Christ.

He proclaims, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved” (John 10:9).

The human heart has an entrance as well, but many have it bolted, defiantly refusing to let Christ come in.

The Bible says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).

To be narrow-minded on the subject of salvation in Jesus alone is not being a fraud, but being faithful.
