Praying with the sense - THERE IS MORE#
The Lord's eyes are open to all the ways and hearts of mankind, but still He invites:
Come to Me ...
When you hear these words, you will know that something must happen in you before you can come.
The Holy Spirit will show you what you have to do, it will involve uprooting whatever is preventing you from getting through to Jesus.
The Holy Spirit will search out that one immovable stronghold within you, but He cannot budge it unless you are willing to let Him do so.
How often have you come to God with your requests and left thinking:
I am still going away with nothing!
Yet all the time Jesus has stood there with out-stretched arms not only to take you, but also for you to take Him. The Holy Spirit can see the barrier, but you still can't.
Just think of the invincible, unconquerable, and untiring patience of He who would never give you a competitor to Himself.
let us throw off everything that hinders and sin that so easily entangles ... Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2)
YET Jesus' still lovingly appeals - come to Me!#
