DARE with PRAYER!

Is there not at various times in Scripture 'unusual' thinking revealed? A vessel of plenty the Bible can be. There exists in it:

  • richness
  • life-giving
  • uniqueness
  • surprises
  • paradoxes
  • instructions
  • wisdom ... and so much more.

Just resting with a Bible open on your lap, invitations appear. Below are two invitations.

Jeremiah, in confinement by the guard of the courtyard, a man of deep longings hears again from God. It is an invitation call to me and I will answer you!

Would you even dare to pray:

Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3)

(NB - Satan made a similar offer too, recorded in Revelation 2:23-25. And, yes he still deceives.)

Would you dare one more prayer:

desire eagerly the greater gifts ... follow the way of love, and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.  (1 Corinthians 12:11, 14:1)

Such praying is acceptable to God, and He will answer them. This is not asking for your wants, but rather His wants planted within you.

You gain both uncommon knowledge, and profound responsibility. These prayers equip you to follow the ways of love.

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS FAITHFUL.
