Dormant, resting and unseen there is a goliath secreted in the souls of the righteous. The timid soul, the pure of heart and the noble recluse are all absent from the eyes of the world - they look like no giant and act with no aggression. God will call them back.
Yet standing tall within they will rise up when their day appears and the Lord calls. Those who know the power of righteousness, the solitude of the cave and the spirit enlivening panacea of pain will see and then seize the moment.
The call from within will well-up, the Spirit long-watered seed of righteous convictions will shoot forth and blossoms of strength will bloom.
God has shown to each man what is good. Some have received this deeply, they are those who provide accommodation for the sleeping giants within.
He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)
