Soul Snack 93/12 ... God the Reverser
And the Lord said to me:
As snow falls and covers the ground, so will I cover my people - all those who belong to me. I will replace burdens with blessings, tears with joy and thorns with comfort.
Too long have my people languished in despair, dishonor and rejection. Too long have I been dishonored because they have been dishonored. This dishonor is both unjust and incorrect. A people who walk in darkness ignorantly pass judgement on those who walk in the light.
He who is in the light will now judge darkness for what it is. My people and my name will liberated but those in darkness will be bound in chains of despair and dishonor forever and ever.
I have spoken, let Him who has ears to hear - hear!
Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the Lord’s renown,
for an everlasting sign,
which will not be destroyed. (Is 55:13)
