When Love is Essential!
At a terrifying rate faithfulness is abandoned, and obedience jettisoned.
The proposition for obedience is uncomplicated, no higher intellect required:
I direct my life or He does. My choice! My right.
The wise would scan all their yesterday's and then humbly enquire of themself:
who is most likely to hurt me, me or Jesus?
To set the mind on the flesh is death - but to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace ... (Romans 8:6 & 10)
The knowledge of God resists the filling of a man's head, for its desire is to check-in to the human heart.
Obedience is not optional, nor is it a bullet-point upon any Divine agenda merely to be discussed.
Jesus' resurrection simply claimed after the cross His words before the cross:
If you love Me you will obey My commandments. (John 14:15)
