Does God hear prayer?
As the believer enters devotion satan whispers, prayer is hollow. But, prayer is truly laying hold of the approachability and availability of God.
Let His Words stand for Himself:
- The Lord hears the needy and does not despise His captive people. ~ Psalm 69:33
- The Lord is attentive to the prayer of the righteous. ~ 1 Peter 3:12b
- And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. ~ Revelation 8:3-4
Revelation 8:3-4 is a magnificent image of even the angels are recruited to ensure prayer gets through. God leaves no stone un-turned.
Don't forget the good Lord invites His children to pray. He hungers to hear from His own:
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. ~ Philippians 4:6
