Unity & Prayer

Soul Snack 52/13 ... Unity & Prayer

Updating Liam

Life is as unpredictable as it is fragile. The prince of the air challenges the hands of Heaven beyond any human imagination. The bounds of evil are only restrained by the bonds of heaven.

Satan constantly has his scissors at the ready to sever the silver chord of life.

When life is threatened it is always the evil one behind it, for satan is a murderer from the beginning.

Prayer is inviting a defender and engaging the heavenly hosts against all the evil that satan intends.

Prayer is raising a guardian shield and erecting a preserving canopy to fortress humans from the devil's malevolence.

Prayer is excavating a defensive moat around a person's life.

Last week's Extra Special Urgent Prayer Request for baby Liam was a truly international union of disciples prevailing upon Heaven for an infant's temporal well-being. (Of the 1500+ mail-outs over the last six years the response to this request was truly exceptional in setting records of both readership and also of direct contact.)

Liam's surgery met a cautious positivity from the surgeon after his operation. This tiny fighter still has a long journey ahead but praise God he remains safe upon earth and protected from Heaven. Please continue to pray healing for little Liam in his health battles.

On behalf of the family and myself I want to say a MIGHTY and MASSIVE thank-you to all of you for the prayer partnership and open-hearted, immediate and generous responses. Please keep the prayers ascending.

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. (Rev 8:3-4)

The prayers of saints arise upon angel held incense. In hands joined together your prayers rose to Heaven's glorious throne upon the international unity of faith last week. In unity there is power. In much unity there is much power. God is always attracted to unity.
