The true place of Christian Virtue

Jesus' kindness to the blinded throngs was palpable. His heart was lifted and 'raced' for them.

How does the good Lord weigh mankind's behavior? Jesus' measures are far from the teachers of men and their curriculums. He does not measure by education. BUT, Christian teaching is measured by a perceived 'good theology'.

'Theology' is thinking, 'virtue' is living.

In the Gospels Jesus began His teaching and ended it with the call to virtue. He hits the ground running with those 'Beaut Attitudes'#. And, dies flinging into a supernatural darkness 'Father, forgive them for they know not what they do'.

The Sermon on the Mount echoes, even screams VIRTUE today to those sufficiently humble, thus wise to listen.

The untaught rules that the Scriptures teach ... JUSTICE is His measuring line, and RIGHTEOUSNESS is His plumbline ... (Isaiah 28:17)

Divine measurement is not from classrooms, but Heaven itself.

Jesus backended His ministry on the Cross with calls of virtue, not vengeance. His behavior and teaching was not learnt from the courses of men or success in human affairs.

The Throne of Grace sits on virtue, not academic acumen. Theology divides while virtue doesn't. Virtue is the glue of relationship.

Virtue has itself been established in heaven itself.

I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You have established Your faithfulness in heaven itself. (Psalm 89:1-2

Christ serving disciples are called to bring peace, seek for peace and stay with peace. Don't dally with the warrior, only the Prince of Peace.

Theology is thinking God's thought after Him, but virtue is walking/living His thoughts with Him.

#'Beaut Attitudes' are the 'Beatitudes' Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:1-12.
