Secret Sin
It might be a secret sin on earth, but it is open scandal to heaven. ~ Lewis Chafer
Sin is easily ignited when it is away from other human eyes.
You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your presence. (Psalm 90:8)
God's grace, His first practices are to:
- offer forgiveness
- choose charity
- rejoice in confession
- cheer at devotion and finally,
- He will withhold no good thing from those whose ways are blameless. (Psalm 84:11b)
Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not hold against him. (Romans 4:8)
After all is said and done, our secret sins were never secret.
