Soul Snack 8/159 ... 2 Men Speak!

I wonder if this is true?

"... for the wound is incurable."  Micah 1:9a

Heavy pensive steps transported this young woman across the swollen over-heated asphalt to her car.

A well educated middle age man of no faith and unkind mouth had just spoken 'words of death' to her already assailed spirit.

Torn apart yet again by such unhealthy and debilitating repetition, the single lonely word 'why' sat in her thinking.

Wounding can be healed but scar tissue tenaciously remains. Her mind, however had just re-confirmed that wounds too are incurable. They too will remain.

Now quietly at home, she humbly kneels before the Throne of Grace. No anger or resentment would enter her prayers or pass through her lips. The only kind man in her life now spoke words of life to her, replacing the words of death ...

' You are my sister in whom I am well pleased .... please trust me, for the impossible is available to those who rely on the eternal,' said  Jesus to her.

Jesus would turn the words of burden to an opportunity for blessing.(This is easy for Him to do and He delights in doing it.)

Words of life will always defeat the words of death spoken over people when they humbly approach His Throne to receive from Him. In every believer there is a far superior, kinder and gentler power ...

... for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
