Soul Snack 8/201 ... Let me learn

Let me learn from you:

Lord high and holy, meek and lowly.

You have brought me to valley of vision,

Where I live in the depths, but you see in the heights,

Hemmed in by mountains of sin,  I behold your glory.

Let me learn your paradox:

That the way down, is the way up,

That to be low,is to be high,

That the broken heart, is the open heart,

That the repenting soul, is the winning soul.

That the contrite spirit, is the rejoicing spirit.

Let me learn clearly:

That to have nothing, is to own heaven,

That to bear the cross, is to wear the crown,

That to give, is to receive,

That the valley is the place of vision.

Let me learn thoroughly:

That stars can be still seen from the deepest wells,

That the deeper the wells, the clearer Your stars,

To find Your light in my darkness,

To find Your life in my death,

To find Your joy in my sorrow.

Let me learn deeply:

To find Your grace in my sin,

To find Your riches in my poverty,

To find Your sight in my blindness and

To find Your glory in my valley.

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter,
though a man's misery weighs heavily upon him.  Eccl 8:6
