I am no Finney, Wesley, Spurgeon, Edwards, Ryle, Tozer, Ravenhill, or Graham.

I am no Hudson Taylor, George Mueller, C.T Studd, James Fraser or Jim Elliot.

I belong to no societies, claim no high connections nor face man's elevation.

I have never held high position, been invited to the head of the table or walked the courts of kings.

I can't claim any electrifying Christian experiences.

I can't claim any knee-bending oratory.

I can't claim mountain moving or water walking.

I can't claim world-changing leadership.

I can't claim the applause of peers.

I can't claim extravagant soul-winning.

I can't claim wealth on earth...

I do claim the life-giving Jesus who only told the truth, was not given to embellishment and commanded divisive judgements.

I do claim a messiah who examines all hearts, refreshes any soul that seeks Him and who turns no-one away.

I do claim the Christ who washes feet, renews the mind and raises the dead.

I do claim a mistreated savior, a rampant rescuer who is the enemy of injustice and the divine lover of mercy.

I do claim a gracious judge whose plumb line is righteousness.

I do claim the Son of God, alive today and risen yesterday - who SAVED me, FORGAVE me, BOUGHT me and now OWNS me, so I must ask:

HOW LONG UNTIL ALL CHRISTIANS BOW THEIR HEADS AND BEND THEIR KNEES TO THIS MAN'S OUTRAGEOUS BOLDNESS? -
