Soul Snack 167/10 ... Dreamworld
Enveloping his mind was a mist-laden canopy of light that filtered into his dream's reality. Searching through his dream he felt warmth and saw smiles. He beamed back.
Uninterrupted in this escape, he continued to meander through both the pleasing and painful points of life that now unfolded before him. He would stop at various points, even disregarding whether they were painful or pleasing. Yet, he observed that wherever he stopped there was always light.
The light that lights this world had always shone upon his path. It was not until now that full comprehension had dawned upon him -- even as he stood before the most painful points in life, the light had always shone, guiding him, even transporting him along life's path to the next point which would be pleasure.
In the seeking of righteousness the path will be bombed with points that are dark and painful, but darkness can never overcome light.
In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not overcome it. (Jn 1:4-5)
Please forgive me Father for the countless times I have misunderstood your hand over my life, for failing to see your light in my darkness and missing your continual goodness. AMEN
