What is life, Lord, without you?
I love you Lord and I need you so.
You are in the depths of my heart and the travails of my soul.
No part of my being, have you not touched nor do you not know.
You have seen all of me.
What is life without you?
There is no meeting I want to attend without you.
There is no place I want to be without you.
There is no path I want to take without you.
My soul longs, indeed thirsts, for you.
What is life without you?
My heart aches and my thoughts break if I am not with you.
You are my counsel and my guide.
You are my going out and my coming in.
You are all my yesterdays, todays and tomorrows.
What is life without you?
Without you my life is absent.
With you my feet walk straight.
With you my soul feels light.
With you my body knows unmerited favour.
What is life without you?
In you alone, hollow becomes happy.
In you alone Lord, pain becomes pleasure.
In you alone Lord, night turns to day.
Without you Lord, I am but vapor, but with you Lord, I am eternal.
What is life without you?
How can they survive each day who do not know you?
"Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
