Hoping
Soul Snack 122/10 ...Hoping
My hope is not in:
the skill of my hands,
the sharpness of my mind or
the education that I have gained.
My hope is not in:
the devotions I give,
the well-being of my body or
the joy of my spirit.
My hope is not in:
the generosity of man,
the approval of others or
some lucky win.
But now, Lord, what do I look for?
My hope is in you. (Ps 39:7)
