Lanes direct life.
There are lanes at Customs, there are lanes on the highway and lanes at the supermarket. Lanes manage our forward progress by limiting our sidewards movement.
There is only one highway to heaven -- this is actually called the Highway of Holiness. This is traversed only by the willing and is marked out by various lanes. The boundaries of this highway are painted lines called righteousness.
There is the lane of crisis and the lane of comfort.
There is the lane of poverty and the lane of prosperity.
There is the lane of handicap and the lane of health.
Unlike so many lanes on earth they are marked without barriers. They can be criss-crossed throughout life, yet each lane is still painted on the Highway of Holiness.
There is a great wealth to understanding each lane we maybe walking within. Whether you are travelling the lane of grief or the lane of goodness - heaven is still where you are pointed, while you walk the Highway of Holiness.
