Soul Snack 38/11 ... Pride's Place
The courageous and the coward are welcome at the Throne of Grace.
The blessed and the burdened may kneel before the Lord Almighty.
The prince and the pauper know no discrimination at Heaven's gate.
Favouritism is as foreign to Heaven as sin is.
Yet there is one who is not welcome and who will never be admitted to Glory - it is He who holds his own correctness, accepts no corrections and admits no error. For the proud will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. (Prov 16:5)
Almighty Lord I would rather be poor and humble than wealthy and expelled from your presence. Amen
