Soul Snack 166/11 ... Purposefully loved
An eternal heart of tenderness knitted you together. That very same heart gazed warmly upon your unformed body in your mother's womb. He cheered at your delivery and applauded your first steps.
Heaven's heart named and called you prior to time. He established works in advance for you to do, and positioned you precisely for them. This is the intimacy of complete personal interest that your existence was planned with.
Such love retains the same softness for you as it held at the foundation of the world - it has not depreciated. Though I may still position myself as His enemy, His love of you remains, that is being Godlike. It is the ability to love those who hate you!
His heart of grace and His heart of giving has not hardened over time. It is not weather-beaten nor calloused, and the heat of the day has not withered it. It may be war-torn but it is not wearied.
It remains permanently soft and tender towards you. It is even likely that His love may be more tender to you, than you are to you. His heart is correct, listen to Him!
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
