Walls from Sin

Soul Snack 98/11 ... Walls from Sin

The Spirit pleads and the Lord cries isolate your-self from all competitors to me. I have better for you than you could imagine, seek or even source.

Could you pray this prayer today and each day?

Surround me this day Lord with your impenetrable walls and cover me with your protecting roof. May these walls hold no windows please Lord that I may not gaze longingly, be enticed and then be taken from you? May these walls also have no doors please that I may not flee your shelter and find sin. Erect your roof as the sentinel to my soul I pray. You are my only refuge, my place of hiding and my shield forever. AMEN

Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over all the glory will be a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding-place from the storm and rain. (Is 4:5-6)
