Have you ever gazed into a window? Did what you see ever 'throw you off balance'? Peering into windows can do that! They may reveal the pleasant or the painful.
Window panes may be clear or confusing. I may see obscure shadows thru opaque glass or I may look thru glass with the unparalled clarity of the noon-day sun.
A clear pane into heaven reveals my sin. To know my sin is to see clearly what God is working with in me. This clarity permits me to feel His invitation, to receive blessing and to remove earthly burdens. His clarirty seeds my catharsis!
To know my sin is to view me through the window that frames my eternity and clarifies my present. To see correctly is to glory in sin removal and not in sin repetition.
To know my sin is to receive from heaven a blessing not available on earth - it is releasing righteousness to me.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Roms 6:22
