Strong Men Die Hard!

Mr Takagi did not see it that way... so he won't be joining us for the rest of his life. ~ Hans from Die Hard 1

Lives are mere commodities to Hollywood. They aren't to Jesus. He calls to all mankind for the sacrifice that secures tomorrow well for another yet to come.

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (John 12:24)

As ageing prospers its toll against entire mankind, some men will turn their thoughts to legacy. Then they learn that he who dies with the most still dies.

The price of a good legacy can never be underestimated, and more so cannot be cheapened.

Self-forgetfulness is mortar to a Divine tomorrow for both self and countless unseen others.

Legacy is in the seeking of influence rather than the pursuit of affluence.

It is in self-death I count my weaknesses and frailties, lest my opinion of me remains my stumbling block.

The legacy you leave is in direct proportion to the martyrdom you exact.

Death to self is not at all a pleasant experience. And, strong men die hard. ~ Frank Bartleman
