Taking The Mystery Out Of Tomorrow
A better world is simple to imagine.
To the generations raised upon 'greed is good', and the strength of personal rights 'it's my body', life on earth has become shakier and shakier. The moral bankruptcy of the west confirms the clay feet of countless lives and all their tomorrows.
Wisdom is proved right by her children. Tomorrow proves the quality of your decisions today. As today always ends, tomorrow never ends. In tomorrrow we live our choices of yesterday.
The good Lord enters again, acting to reverse extravagant and indulgent living. This living only leads to hurt.
He counsels:
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. (Proverbs 3:3)
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the ways of the righteous smooth. (Isaiah 26:7)
These four virtues return and restore, they repair and rejuvenate lives flooded in sin and darkened by lies.
It is wise to count each day as passing and thus live it well - for the words I speak today, the steps I take today, the relationships I choose or dismiss today will all color my next day, and then my eternal tomorrows.
The day soon comes when virtue defeats vice and reason proves that faith was always right.
