The Journey of Grace Upon Earth

Faith lives.

Faith, like a muscle, grows by stretching. ~ A. W. Tozer

It is a spiritual organism, much the same as physical organisms.

Faith feels. It will jump for joy, or can slump in despair. Others can even see this.

Faith is a precondition for enjoying the symphony of God's glory. This is not in the same sense as receiving a ticket to a musical. But, it is in the sense of leaning the ear, attuning it towards heaven's melodies, not those of men.

The real precondition of enjoying the music of heaven for eternity is a new heart. This will then dwell upon the delights that God first likes.

Faith is the conquering grace upon earth. ~ Thomas Watson

A decision card carried in your pocket may ease the conscience while it still hankers, indeed is captivated by Babylon's glitter and lights - but it can't sing the songs of Zion.

If our faith is not first in the present tense it will struggle to reach the future tense. ~ anon

This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence... (1 John 3:19)
