The Orphan's Promise

The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread. ~ Mother Teresa

You may feel like an orphan yet have never lost your parents or been abandoned.

Rejection is the yeast of an orphan. When repeated this is death to the human spirit. Self-doubt and loneliness are rejection's fruits.

But the Lord has a word of kindness, a light touch of love for those who feel themselves outcasts:

I have loved you with an everlasting love and drawn you with loving kindness. Your orphan spirit has made you comfortable and protected you, it has drawn you to Me.

When the shadow of adversity lingers, write down - 'you are Mine'. It is to Me you belong.

Peace is to be your governor and righteousness your ruler. The joy of the Lord is your strength and My presence your peace.

Thankyou for being who you are, as I formed you  - although you may believe you are far less. Yet you remain perfect in My eyes; always have been, always will be.

Appeal to Me because this Father is always listening and always loving -

NO CHILD OF MINE IS EVER ORPHANED.

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. (Psalm 27:10)
