There is an Unseen City
There is an Unseen City, it is named NEW JERUSALEM.
Any Christian is wise to follow Jesus and fix their eyes resolutely upon the New Jerusalem. Its street are paved with gold. Gold is not collected or guarded in heaven. (Remember the things men value the Lord does not.) This Unseen City is THE forever Holy City whose foundations are laid by its architect and builder, He cannot make mistakes.
Moses saw no form of any kind the day the Lord spoke to him at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch ... very carefully. (Deuteronomy 4:15, lightly edited)
And, as Moses did, we persevere because we too have met Him who is invisible.
By faith Moses ... regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt because was looking ahead to his reward ... he persevered because he saw Him who is invisible. (Hebrews 11:24-27 extracts)
Faith illumines the unseen and without faith none can please the good Lord. Thus, we eagerly await to hear well done good and faithful servant.
There is no place for spiritual ease, lest we lose The Home of Righteousness.
It is great grit and sheer determination the believer requires to breast the invisible finish tape in Christian faith. For, it is ONLY he who stands firm unto to the end that receives salvation.
Devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God. (1 Chronicles 22:19)
