When There Was No faith

Once upon a time (in pre-history) there was no faith. This time will arrive again soon, when the dwelling of God returns to be with men. (But not with all men.)

In the beginning God was not unseen. He walked and talked with Adam first, and then Eve, also in Eden. This is how He chose to create earth and build relationship. Paradise was home for man and woman, a dwelling for Him in their presence. And, them in His presence.

The Lord God created paradise for us and Himself. No one would choose to create hell as their home.

But now man does not see Him, and most do not even admit Him. Mankind has suppressed His truth.

In loving response to His absence from our eyes, God has measured out faith to His own, so that we may each survive and meet Him. This is no cause to boast. Faith is our shield for the journey home.

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. (Romans 12:3)

God has now protected our trip through earth by faith, for we cannot as yet see Him, but it is from this trust that we still know Him.

Until we meet Jesus, all His disciples must always live by faith alone.

On this side of heaven faith is God's deliberate treasure to us, for it sees what eye-sight can't but one day will

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

Earth began without faith and it will forever finish in the same way, when the dwelling of God is again with man.
