CHRISTMAS ARRIVES TO STIR ALL MANKIND
The presence of Christmas is 'electrifying' the air. So, what causes the 'electrification'? God's Son drops in to earth. No doubt exists that He already dwelt in a superior place. You see, His better home means Christmas was never to be an end in itself, but merely the beginning of the end.
CHRISTMAS ARRIVES TO STIR ALL MEN TO CONSIDER ALL THEIR TOMORROWS.
Eternity belongs to the soul. When death appears the breath is snatched back to He who first gave it. The body decays, returning to the dust of its original form. But, the human soul lives on forever.
... and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Jesus' birth, God made as man upon earth, is to impress upon mankind their their immortal souls are in deadly peril. And, of highest value to men.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? (Matthew 16:26)
The ancient and now the modern world have been grappling with this for 2000 years while still celebrating Christmas.
The Last Word:
Bethlehem guaranteed Gethsemane. Gethsemane guaranteed Golgotha. And, Golgotha guaranteed eternal GLORY to all those who give their soul to Jesus.
