The 1st Place of Temptation

The Bible contains twin gardens that are notable in eternity.

The first Adam 'lived' in one, and the second Adam 'died' in one.

The first Adam walked with God in peace, the second Adam knelt with God in terror.

The first Adam was in the garden of delight and disobeyed.

The second Adam was in the garden of despair and obeyed.

The question God still poses to all:

will you still obey Me in the gardens of delight as you do in the gardens of despair?

The first man made his first choice very clear. REMEMBER - paradise is the first place of temptation.

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.(Romans 5:18-19)

More the treacherous calm I dread, than tempests rolling overhead. ~ Anon
